I’m a Gabz girl through and through. You want to know a back road from one suburb to the other, I’ve got you. You want to know the five previous restaurants that were at that location, I have you covered. This is why, when I was pregnant, it came as a shock that I had no idea where to get stuff.
It all started when I realized I wasn’t going to be that tiny pregnant lady I dreamed of being. I was rather going to be a waddling whale. To curve my ballooning belly drama I had find some maternity clothes – fast. People told me you have to go to SA. Turns out they were wrong. I asked a lot of people and eventually found that Gabz has places. It would have been so much easier if I’d just had Family Gems.
When I was pregnant I knew zero about what stuff I needed for a baby. I googled what on earth to get. That gave me – what I now realise may have been – a somewhat excessive list! I decided to try to find all these items but I didn’t have a clue where to start. It would have been so much easier if I’d just had Family Gems.
Then my little bundle of joy arrived. Beyond rushing my child to E.R every time he had a sniffle, I needed a paediatrician. So I asked a bunch of mates and got a few replies. It would have been so much easier if I’d just had Family Gems.
And suddenly they grow up! My gorgeous bub needed to start to venture out into the world. OK so mostly this mama needed out of the house. I just didn’t know where to go. Luckily I asked a few mates. Found SensoBaby but – you guessed it! It would have been so much easier if I’d just had Family Gems.
I can’t begin to tell you the endless times I have been onto my friends to see who has an answer to some pretty basic questions. We needed it to make our lives easier. So we’ve gotten together to create a family-friendly website so that people don’t need to harass their friends but rather they are the ones that are ‘in-the-know’.
