The Magic Bean Theatre Company is finally coming to Gabz and they are doing a show called a Moment in Time. Hooray!
What is the show?
A Moment in Time is a good old fashioned family friendly variety show. It takes the audience on a musical journey from the 1950s to the 2000s. There’s singing, dancing, stomp and even some LED hoops! I have no idea how that works but it sounds exciting.
Who are they?
The ensemble consists of three women and three men that love the dramatics. They were battling to find work when the company started. They now work Monday – Friday perfecting their craft. That’s 5 days a week so folks we know they must be good. The Company has even started to do their own costumes so that will be interesting.
Why did the company start?
The Magic Bean Theatre is the brain child of a long time Maun resident called Anne. She loves theatre and needed an outlet for that passion. So boom, the theatre company was born. It provides fun and something different to the Maun community. And now they are at last coming to Gabz!
When is the show?
They are performing at Westwood International School this Friday at 7 pm sharp. I am assured the show will start on time so don’t miss out. It’s P100 for adults and P50 for kids.
How do you get Tickets?
You can get tickets from the BSPCA or give Journey of Hope a call on 267 72 305 012. If they haven’t already sold out you can also get tickets at the door. I asked today and apparently tickets are selling fast!
Why Family Gems loves this Show?
Guess what, all the proceeds from the show are going to two charities the BSPCA and Journey of Hope. Plus, other than a late bedtime, it is totally family friendly. LOVE IT.
