In May we celebrated Mums but this month it is all about the Dads. Here are some places and activities you can do to spoil him for Father’s Day in Gaborone. If you are also looking for ideas on gifts have a look here.

70’s 80’s Party at the Grand Palm (GICC)

Date 15th June
Time 7pm to 6am the next morning – phew!
Price P250 per person & P 500 VIP

Okay so this isn’t a Father’s Day event per say, but every parent needs a night out every so often too! Dress up in your favourite 70’s or 80’s inspired outfit and enjoy a blast from the past.

Father’s Day at the Grand Palm

Time 12:30-14:30
Price P265 adults and P135 for children

This will be a buffet with live entertainment. There will also be children’s entertainment on the fig tree lawns.

Lily’s Petting Farm Father’s Day Picnic

Time 10am to 6pm

Price P50 per person

Lily’s has a Father’s Day picnic happening. Bring your cooler boxes and picnic baskets in free of charge and enjoy a relaxing afternoon. There will be the usual pony and donkey cart rides available.

Father’s Day Spit Braai

Fathers will receive a complimentary welcome craft beer and there will be activities for both fathers and kids on the day.

Father’s Day at Mokolodi

Mokolodi will be having a venison spit braai and beer bucket specials (local & import beers). Booking is essential so give them a call.

Father’s Day at Basilico

Time Lunch & Dinner (12:00-21:00)

Basilico is hosting a special 3-course set menu for P250, and dads will be treated with a beer on arrival. There’s live music + a karaoke competition for something different. And with kiddie’s entertainment like a clown, face painting, jumping castle and pizza making, you might be able to eat in peace.
