Last month it was all about Mothers, now Dads have their turn. On Sunday the 16th of June is Father’s Day. Here is a roundup about things you can do with that Dad to make him feel special. Keep checking back, we’ll update it as we come across more.

Ok so technically this isn’t on father’s day, but it sounds like lots of fun. Ask Me About Autism Bw is doing a fundraising activity. Join them for the Fathers Day 3×3 Basketball Tournament. They’re looking for 8 different teams, each made up of 3, maximum 4 people.

Father’s Day Play With SensoBaby
Saturday the 15th of June
Time: 9 am – 11 pm
SensoBaby is inviting families to kick off Father’s Day weekend with a fun playdate that starts with laughs, play, and friends while building community.
Mums… this is a great chance to get some time to yourself! Send Dad and the little one(s) along to our play date and we’ll make sure they’re all well taken care of. But you’re welcome to come along too if you’d like!
If you’d like a keepsake to remember this year’s Father’s Day, then for only P60 you can get a few pro photos of Dad & Baby together. Sirolene of Peach Tree Photography and Design will be with us to snap photos for families.
Please dress warm as we will likely spend the morning outside on the turf to enjoy some fun action play, ball games, sensory play and arts & crafts activities.

Lily’s Petting Farm Father’s Day Picnic
Time 10am to 6pm
Price: P25 for Dad and P50 per person
Lily’s has a Father’s Day braai happening. Bring your own braai, or buy your braai meat, snacks and ice cream. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with your family. There will be the usual agri-entertainment, maze and pony rides. As the weather is cooler this is a great time to visit Lily’s Petting Farm.

No1 Ladies Coffee House Spit Braai
Price P180 per person. Kids are half price.
Time: 1pm
No1 Ladies have a Father’s Day lamb spit. They have live entertainment from Cedric. They will also have jumping castles and supervised kids activities.
Please note that some posters do have the wrong date. We spoke to the owner of No1’s. It’s definitely happening this year.

Time: It starts at 11 am
Enjoy a one-hour game drive followed by a venison spit braai served with various sides. Beer buckets of local beers at P100. A cash bar is available.

Art Of Laser: Spoil Dad
This one is a little left field but we thought it was fun. What about a
Gentleman’s Facial, Art of laser is doing one for only P250. This is valid until Father’s Day.
