It’s officially cold in Gaborone. That’s obviously why the family-friendly events quieten down in July. We do have a few ideas that will hopefully tempt you out and about.
However, this month is also a great time to catch up on all those boring tasks like getting your kids to the dentist. Yes, we do have some great Dentists listed. We also wrote a post about learning what impacts a child’s dental development – and by monitoring it – you can help keep teeth healthy. So have a read of that and it should inspire you to book that appointment.
If heading to that Dentist is not your idea of a family friendly event, yes it’s a stretch but a necessity. Why not have a read below about more events.

The framework covers the six areas of development that pave the way for lifelong learning. Social and emotional development, fine motor, language, gross motor, cognitive skills and imagination and creativity. Find out how you can easily meet these criteria through simple play opportunities.
The best part about this workshop is the proceeds go directly to Learn to Play, an organisation bringing playgroups to marginalised groups around Botswana.
