Spring has sprung. Well kind of. Either way, September is the perfect month to get outdoors and enjoy the sunnier weather before it gets too hot! We have some great events in September to get you outside and having fun with your family.
Cuppa Love
Friday the 6th of September
Time: 10 am
Cuppa Love is a FREE coffee morning for new and expectant mothers. It’s designed to bring mums together and experience for yourselves the positive effects of love and connection in our community.
This part of an amazing global campaign that SensoBaby’s proud to be part of to promote the importance of bonding for babies, children, and parents. It’s called ‘Love Creates Love’ and is led by Blossom and Berry, the UK-based experts in baby massage.
Wine Uncorked- Franschhoek Spring Carnival Family Fun Day
Saturday, the 7th of September
Price: P100 per ticket. Children are free but will pay P50 to enter the fun park.
Time: 11 am – 7 pm
Your ticket includes tastings from 10 wine farms, a branded glass and entertainment.
Children have free entry into the event. However, they’ll pay P50 to get into the fun park. This is barricaded with full supervision and lots of entertainment.

BOSASNet Family Wellness Day 2019
Saturday the 7th of September
Bordergate Mall (Tlokweng)

Time: 6:30 am – 12:30 pm
BOSASNet are hosting a wellness day. Bring your whole family to enjoy a fun-filled time with many activities for all. They have a 5 km obstacle course, a kiddies corner and various stalls.

Notwane Garden Centre (Oodi Turn Off)
P35 for adults P15 for kids under 12
Time: 10:30 am – 7 pm
Honk if you are hungry. Bring your picnic blankets and camp chairs for some family fun. There will be face painting, colouring, rabbit petting and family competitions.
Notwane Market
Sunday the 15th of September
Price: Free
Time: 10 am – 4 pm
Notwane Equestrian Centre invites you to visit their first Notwane Farm and Craft Market. Enjoy the various fresh produce and crafts that are displayed. While you’re there why not get your kids to have a pony ride along the river.
GIS Family Fun Day 21 September 2019

Time: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
The Gaborone International School are hosting a family fun day. There will be games, swings, rides, food and more.
Mind, Body and Soul Fair, 2019
Saturday the 21st of September
Price: FREE
Time: 10 am – 2 pm
It’s time for the annual event on how to care for your Mind, Body and Soul. There will also be all your favourite stalls that are usually at a Sanitas market.
LKNS Family Fun Day
Saturday the 28th of September
Price: P10 for adults, P5 for kids
Time: 10 am – 6 pm
Join the Little Kingdom Nursery school for their annual Family Fun Day for lots of fun in the sun.
GGC 5km Walk, Jog, Run
Every Monday evening
Gaborone Golf Club
Time: 5 pm and it’s FREE
This event happens every week on a Monday. It’s a well organized and is a timed event. The real athletes can race off into the distance whilst others can simply walk. Kids are welcome to join in the fitness fun and lots of parents bring their strollers along. This is a great family event.

This looks exciting. There will be foam slides, face painting and horseriding. There will also be stalls, a dance competition and clowns.
