Abominable Kids Friendly Fun Day
Saturday, 12 October
Price: P110 including snacks
Time: 11am – 2pm
New Capitol Cinemas Acacia and Botswana Family Gems are hosting a KID-FRIENDLY showing of Abominable!
- The sound will be turned down a little, to make it safe for little ears.
- The lights will be up, so you won’t need to reach for your phone’s flashlight to find a dropped toy.
- If your child wants to play or dance, no problem! They won’t be bothering anyone.
There will be tons of other fun, including face painting, a bouncy castle, and more.
Gaborone Kiddies Festival

Time: 10am – 7pm
This is going to be an exciting time of fun and games for all. There will be giant slides, inflatables of all kinds, choo choo trains, a mechanical bull and face painting. On top of that, there will be stalls, dance and beauty competitions and clowns. A mini carnival for the whole family to enjoy!
Phakalane Pop Up Summer Market

The monthly market at Mowana Park Shopping Centre has returned to Entrance 1 next to the new deli restaurant opening in September. The market offers a wide variety of handmade and manufactured products from different stall holders.
Molapo Eats

Time: 10am – 6pm
Come eat your way around the world! Admission is free for this food festival. There will be more than 30 stalls offering all kinds of food, local produce, oils, confectioneries, wines and so much more!
Through The Cracks
Sunday, 13 October – Monday, 14 October
The Land Retreat, Modipane

Time: 12pm – 5pm
Take pleasure in a weekend of art, food and soul. Through the cracks is an art exhibition like no other! There will be vegan food from different stallholders, yoga sessions, various talks and a children’s play area available from Honeycomb Hub at a small fee.
The Night Market

The city of Gaborone comes alive at the beloved Night Market. It has stalls ,live entertainment, bars, food, fashion and flair! There will also be a Kiddies section so they can come along and enjoy it too.

Camp Botswana has been chosen to film a brand new TV show of their campers in action. Filming will take place in different locations where campers will have the task of choosing the coolest spot for camp activities.

This is one to look forward to. There will be mouthwatering BBQ food, drinks and music! There’ll also be cook-off competitions eating contests and a kiddie’s zone with other fun kid activities.

Family Gems, Mosha Wellness Spa, and Avani Gaborone Hotel & Casino are hosting an afternoon fundraising event, asking you to get TOGETHER FOR A CURE for cancer with them.
The goal is to raise P75, 000 which will be donated to the Tlamela Ngwana fund and Happy Hearts.
Attendees will be treated to a welcome drink, some delicious nibbles, live music, raffles and more.

Halo Nana, The Baby And Kiddies Business Expo

Experience the wonderful world of parenting! Halo Nana is Botswana’s only baby and kiddies business expo offering a platform to learn more about being a mommy and a daddy and all the wonderful things that come when the baby arrives.
Exhibitors will offer a range of products and share information on how to make the parenting journey more enjoyable, perhaps even fun!
