November is just that great month between the summertime fun of October and Christmas festivities of December! There are lots of fun events lined up for you and your family to attend. We picked the best few but if there are more that you’d like us to present, you are more than welcome to let us know.
Fireworks Extravaganza – Guy Fawkes 2019
Saturday 2 November
Gaborone Cricket Club
Price: P100 Adults | P50 Kids | Free for kids under 6 years
Time: 3pm – 12:30am
Nothing screams “EXCITEMENT” like fireworks! Gaborone Cricket Club will be hosting its annual fireworks show, Guy Fawkes Day. This event promises to be lots of fun for the whole family. Tickets are available at Gaborone Cricket Club and Computicket.
BSPCA Howl-O-Ween
Saturday 2 November
Price: P150 for an entry per kid
Time: 10am – 1pm
A morning of fun for the kids and a glass of bubbly for the parents! There will be games, snacks and music. Kids can come dressed up. The scarier the better!
Molapo Eats
Sunday 3 November
Molapo Stanbic Piazza
Price: FREE
Time: 2pm – 8pm
Come and eat your way around the world! There will be a variety of different food, confectionaries and much more at this event. Family and friends spend their best time hanging out with good food. Kids entertainment will be provided. As well as a variety of stalls, food, local produce, cooking oils, confectionaries, wine and so much more!
6th Japan – Botswana Children Painting Exhibition
Monday 4 November
Ben Thema Primary School
Price: FREE
Time: 8am – 2pm
If you’ve got free time on this Monday, come and see paintings drawn by both Japanese and Botswana students! It is worth visiting the exhibition as you can see an interesting contrast between two different cultures.
This event was initiated by Tsuzuki Multicultural & Youth Plaza, Yokohama, Japan. Every year since 2014, grade 3 students of Chigasaki Elementary School of Yokohama and Ben Thema Primary School of Gaborone exchange paintings and they are exhibited in both countries.
Together For A Cure
Saturday, 9th November
Avani Gaborone Resort & Casino
Price: P400 per ticket
Time: 2pm – 5pm
Family Gems, Mosha Wellness Spa, and Avani Gaborone Hotel & Casino are hosting an afternoon fundraising event, asking you to get TOGETHER FOR A CURE for cancer with them.
The goal is to raise P75, 000 which will be donated to the Tlamela Ngwana fund and Happy Hearts.
Attendees will be treated to a welcome drink, some delicious nibbles, live music, raffles and more.

Halo Nana, The Baby & Kiddies Business Expo

We have been waiting for this! Experience the wonderful world of parenting! Halo Nana is Botswana’s only baby and kiddies business expo offering a platform to learn more about being a mommy and a daddy and all the wonderful things that come when the baby arrives.
Beer & Wine Festival
Saturday 9 November
Gaborone Golf Club
Price: P200 adults | P50 children aged 12-18 | Free for children under 12
Time: 11am – 11pm
This is the real Beer And Wine Fest! An event to be at! There will be live performances, beer and wine tasting, Bavarian-inspired food, children’s entertainment, german costume contest, lawn seating and more. The P200 includes P75 worth of food and beverage vouchers, parking, access to the play area and more. There will be a children’s play area supervised by InPlay- Indoor Playground.

Sanitas Christmas Market

Sanitas Christmas Market is the best place to get your early Christmas treats and gifts! There will be live entertainment from Kingdomcity Hub with a Christmas Remix production as well as brilliant music from Cedric.
BSPCA Christmas Fair
Friday 29 November
Price: P50 Adults | P20 Kids
Time: 5pm – 9pm
The unique BSPCA Christmas Fair is on for its third edition! Last year they had over 30 stalls, different types of food, music and a sunrise visitor for the kids. This year promises to be even better! All funds from gate fees will go towards BSPCA and there will be a lucky draw!
Oodi Summer Chillas
Saturday 30 November
Buffalo Horns Farm, Oodi Village

Time: 10 am till late
All roads lead to Buffalo Horns Farm in Oodi on this Saturday. This family fun day will have music, stall, jumping castles, face painting and so much more. Lots of fun for the whole family. Tickets are available on Web Tickets and all spar outlets!
