Mother’s Day is a day to remember why being a mum is priceless, and why we love it. We hope you enjoy these gems from our mums in Botswana.

Lame
I love how kids are so aware of atmospheres and can sense things beyond the eye.
On days when I feel really overwhelmed – at times trying to act like I have everything under control – my 2-year-old will come to me unprovoked and give me a warm fuzzy hug and say, “Don’t worry, Mama. Okay?”. Every single time without fail. Such an angel.
These are my words to you this Mother’s day, “Don’t worry, Mama.”
Igobe
Motherhood’s a constant struggle between, “That’s it! I need a month-long vacation away from the kids!” and, “Ah! This is the best feeling in the world. There’s nothing else I’d rather be doing.”
Picking up my 4-year-old from school the other day he came running and said, “Happy Mother’s day, Mummy. I love you”. Melting my heart instantly.
Granted, motherhood comes with all sorts of challenges. Sometimes you’d even think you have the best “worst challenge” in the world. Yet, it’s the unexpected moments that become constant reminders of how beautiful motherhood is. And how great you’re doing at a job that doesn’t come with instructions or training.
It’s the random kisses on the eyes, the random little hugs, the beautiful toothless smiles, and the random “I love yous” that remind me why I love being a mum.
Rosy

I love being able to love more than I ever thought I could love; The best part of my day is getting home from work and seeing my kids run towards me to give me lots of hugs and cuddles. They can change even the hardest day into a beautiful day by just seeing them smile.
I love the little things, like the giggles, eating ice cream, playing with Legos, or making playdoh. Children want to be just like us, their parents, so it’s important that we show them kindness and teach them about the beauty of a God-filled life.
Maggie
We just want money and gift vouchers.
Maggie, we feel you. That’s why we put together this Mother’s day gifts round-up, with you in mind. We hope you get spoiled with drool, hugs, kisses, gifts, and a hearty breakfast in bed this Mother’s Day.
Mums, you’re doing great! No one can show up the way that you do. Share this with a mum to wish them a Happy Mother’s Day.
