The school holiday season is just about upon us again. We have a school holiday round-up full of activities and camps that will keep the kids educated and entertained. So if ‘edutainment’ is what you are looking for during the school holidays, this, one is for you!

A Daytime Party Bus

Join this 10am party on wheels with Bush Train BW this weekend – yes it is kid friendly! There will be a kiddies corner full of activities, board games, jumping castles and a water slide. The superstars over at Mummycare Babysitters will also be onboard to help look after the kids.

Dipeo Holiday School

There is a rain and rainbow themed holiday program by Peo Mela and Dipeo Holiday Schools in the last week of the holidays in September. The classes will be from 07:30 to 12:30 daily and are P75.00 per day.

Crafts and Dance Holiday Camp

Masarati Kids has a holiday camp with arts & crafts, dancing, cooking and baking for kiddies from August 15th-18th. All you have to is drop them off, a light meal and art materials will be provided – sounds like a fun time!

Kids Camp with Camp Botswana

Camp Botswana has an ongoing kids camp from the 9th until the 12th. Activities include camping, paintball, horse-riding and a marshmallow campfire.

Cooking and Baking Camp with Nqoosa

The Nqoosa Delevopment Academy will be offering a yummy holiday camp for the “Kindercooks” (ages 4-7) and “Junior Chefs” (ages 8-14). We hear there will be a battle of the brownie competition somewhere in there – how sweet? Don’t let the little ones miss out!

“I Am Enough” Teen Camp

Swimming Camp at Mai’s

Mai’s Aquatic Centre has a swimming camp kids of ages 4-7 these holidays in Block 7. Please pack food, swimming gear and a change of clothes for them.

Bala After School have a 3 week long Holiday Camp program that will run from 8am to 1pm everyday. Activities will cooking, crafts and games.

BrainSTREAM Holiday Program

If you have little ones between the ages 4-15 that would like to build robots and drones then this is the holiday program to get them into. Talk about 21st century skills! The program will be a week long from 9am to 1pm daily.

A Juniors Golf Competition

Nomads Botswana is hosting a juniors golf competition on August 16th and 17th. The competition will be in 3 age divisions: 8-10; 11-14 and 15-18.
Food and drinks will be available halfway through and there will be a prize giving at the end.

The Dibini Holdiay Programme

The Dibini holiday programme is back – for two weeks this time. Every day will be filled with different activities that focus on motor skills, social skills, reading, messy play and more.

Phoenix Swimming Camp

Phoenix Swimming will be having a 3 week long swimming camp for ages 3 and above. All the sessions will be in the mornings between 10:30 and noon.

Life Lessons with Basketball Camp

Coach Yasemin Kimyacioglu will be having a basketball camp for the kids this holiday. The kids will learn about the fundamentals of basketball as well as some key life-skills. The coach will provide a basketball for each child to practice at home. The camp will allow kids from ages 7-15 and will be from 8am to noon.

Cricket Holiday Program

Fairy Crafts

Honeycomb Hub has a fully-packed holiday camp and one of them is a fairy crafts class. The class will be divided into two 2 sessions. The 120 fee includes the toolkits for each session.

Session 1: 14:00 – 15:00 (4-9years)
Session 2: 15:30 – 17:00 (7-13years)

Holiday Zumba Classes

Honeycomb Hub also offers some Zumba classes for kids as little as 2 years right to the teens. P60 gets them in the class. Limited spaces available on 17th and August 24th.

Stepping into September

More classes with Honeycomb Hub

The Honeycomb Hub Holiday Club continues into the first week of September. The last class is one you do-nut want your child to miss. It’s a 2 hour earing-making class on the 6th of September, which they can join for P100 per day.
