How it started
Camp Ignite was founded in 2019 but started operating in December 2020. by two passionate teachers. The highlights we have had at Camp Ignite are the monthly educational excursions that we take the children on as a way for them to unwind, have fun and learn something new in an interesting way. It is always such a pleasure and joy to see the children beam and light up exploring new environments and engaging in new activities. So far we have been to Notwane Equestrian Centre for horse riding, Otse for art and Thamaga for Pottery. Our next excursion happening this month will be in Malotwane for a Slime Workshop. The program has since grown amidst the global pandemic.
The facilitators found it fit to start a program where children could pass time but still be educated during this time and closure of schools. The facilitators ensured that all Covid-19 protocols are observed during the excursions.
Find out what the little ones will be up to next, keep updated on their Instagram and Facebook pages, or give them a call on +26772417443.
