Learning Method
Kumon is an active learning program. Instead of taking notes, memorizing facts, and being fed information from teachers or a tutor, your child actively develops critical, self-learning skills. Kumon Study Center accomplishes this through the following:
Carefully Designed Worksheets
These worksheets cover maths, phonics and literature at all levels. They are constantly updated to remain relevant and effective for students.
Step by Step Advancement
Each sheet is one step advanced from the previous one. Children grasp concepts while growing in their skills and knowledge.
Learning That is Truly Absorbed
Kumon facilitators will not move on unless a child has fully grasped a concept.
Examples That Demonstrate
Each worksheet also has examples that show children how to work out a problem which makes self-learning possible.

At what age can students start Kumon study?
Students can start learning with Kumon from 4years and above. We currently have students as young as four years old studying with us, ranging all the way up to those about to go to university.
How does Kumon differ from extra lessons or classroom learning?
Rather than preparing children for a particular test or assessment, Kumon empowers students to learn for themselves, through individualised instruction and carefully developed worksheets. As well as developing key skills in maths and English, each Kumon student will work towards building their independent learning skills and confidence in their own abilities.
How will Kumon help my child with their schoolwork?
As a global programme, Kumon operates at exactly the right level for each student – regardless of their age – ensuring that work set extends and develops their skills, confidence and ability.
