Nomads Botswana, an extension of the esteemed Nomads golfing fraternity that originated in South Africa in 1960, invites young golf enthusiasts to join its transformative Junior Golf Program. Established from a passionate group of businessmen who cherished golf and community, Nomads has grown into a prestigious organization dedicated to promoting the game of golf, supporting charity, and nurturing the next generation of golfers.

From its roots as ‘Gomads Botswana’ in 1993, our Botswana chapter has flourished under the Nomads banner, receiving official recognition in 1997. Today, we’re committed to the furtherance of golf, especially at the junior level, aiming to cultivate a lifelong passion for the sport among young players.

Join the School Holiday Program
Nomads Botswana proudly presents our school holiday golf program, designed for junior golfers aged 6 to 18. Set in the scenic Gaborone Golf Club, our program is the perfect opportunity for young players to refine their skills, enjoy the camaraderie of the sport, and perhaps, prepare for future competitions. Sessions run during Easter and August school holidays, offering a blend of practice and play in a supportive and fun environment.
Program Details:
- Dates: Starting August 13th, every Tuesday and Thursday
- Time: Tee off at 7:30 AM for 9 or 18 holes
- Cost: P20 per child, per session
- Requirements: Each child should bring their own mini golf set
Parents can choose to enjoy some leisure time at the Tea Hut in Gaborone Golf Club or drop off their kids for a morning filled with golf and growth.
Nomads Junior Golf Competition
The holiday program culminates in the eagerly anticipated Nomads Junior Golf Competition on August 31st. This event not only showcases the skills developed over the holidays but also introduces the thrill of tournament play. With prizes sponsored by Nomads, it’s a celebration of young talent and the joy of golf.
