Established in 1988, Westwood is the school of choice for internationally-minded families. Our purpose-built facilities are maintained under the sustainable “Green Flag” awarded by the Eco-Schools Foundation.
We are the only continuum school in Gaborone, offering the International Baccalaureate PYP, MYP, and DP for students from 5 to 18 years old. The continuous scaffolding of knowledge, skills, and attitudes provides students with the best possible preparation to be successful in higher education and life beyond.
Westwood is a not-for-profit school and all revenues are used to improve the school to benefit the students. We are an independent school governed by a board of founders, parents, diplomats, and other stakeholders.
