Walk for Giants Family Walk and Fun Day

Walk for Giants Family Walk and Fun Day is a meaningful family-friendly event taking place on Saturday, 12 September 2026 at Westwood International School. The event brings together schools, students, families and friends for a community walk in support of rhino protection.
Registration starts at 7:00am, and the walk and fun day will begin at 8:00am. Families can look forward to a day filled with activities, including a family walk, fun activities for kids, face painting, jumping castles, food and market stalls, as well as music and entertainment.
Titan Valley Stargazing Experience
Date: Saturday 19 September
Time: 7:00pm – 9:00pm
The Titan Valley Stargazing Experience is a family-friendly evening activity for children and adults who enjoy learning, exploring and discovering the night sky. Taking place on Saturday, 19 September 2026, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Plot 3010, Oodi Village, this event offers a fun and educational way to experience astronomy.
Families can look forward to viewing the moon, planet Saturn and constellations, along with a tour of the space gallery, tour of the night sky, and Stellarium and telescope viewing.
The Crafter’s Nook Creative Workshops
Date: Saturday 12 September & Saturday 19 September
Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
The Crafter’s Nook by Rizka has two colourful September workshops lined up for children who love hands-on creativity, painting and playful activities. Both sessions will take place at Block 6, Louisville, from 11:00am to 1:00pm, with materials provided.
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, children aged 3 years and above can join the Doll House Painting & Decoupage workshop. Kids will get to decorate and personalise their own doll house, creating a beautiful piece to take home.
Urban_arts_by_W September Creative Workshops

Urban_arts_by_W has a fun line-up of creative September activities for children aged 3 years to teens, with hands-on sessions that include painting, crafting, baking and celebrating Botswana in a colourful way.
On Saturday, 12 September 2026, children aged 3 years and above can join the Doll House Painting & Decoupage workshop. Kids will get to decorate and personalise their own doll house, creating a beautiful piece to take home.
On 19 September 2026, the Absolute Creativity session invites children to paint a ceramic item and enjoy fun games with friends. The activity runs from 11:00am to 12:30pm and is open to ages 3 to teens. The fee is P150, with a special offer where friends can each pay P100 when they come together.
On 26 September 2026, children can take part in the Boipuso Celebrations BOTS60 activity. This creative and sweet session will include baking Cookie Monster cookies and making a special card to celebrate Botswana’s 60th Independence. The session runs from 11:00am to 12:30pm at Block 6, and the fee is P140.
Quiz Night with the BSPCA

Quiz Night with the BSPCA is a fun evening event happening on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at Bull ‘N Bush. It is a great outing for animal lovers, friends, families with older children, and teams who enjoy testing their general knowledge in a lively social setting.
Brainstream Institute of Technology Coding & Robotics
Date: Friday 19 September
Brainstream Institute of Technology is opening registration for it’s Term 3 Coding & Robotics programme for curious young minds. Starting on Friday, 19 September 2026, the programme gives children the opportunity to learn, build, create and have fun through hands-on technology activities.
Children will explore coding and robotics in an engaging way, helping them build problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence and an early interest in technology.
Hibiscus Bana Pre-School Family Picnic

Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Hibiscus Bana Pre-School is hosting a Family Picnic on Saturday, 26 September 2026, from 11:00am to 4:00pm in Tlokweng, along Jamali Stadium Road.
This free family-friendly event is a lovely outing for parents and children to enjoy a relaxed picnic atmosphere with fun activities throughout the day. Families can look forward to mascots, swimming, face painting, food and music, as well as a jumping castle and slides.
