I think most Mothers would say being a parent is the most rewarding job they’ve ever had. It is also one that we Mothers don’t get paid for. It’s 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. Except maybe we have Mother’s Day off. We’ve got a single day a year that we can put our feet up and say it’s our turn to get spoilt. Well, that’s certainly the idea.

Lily’s Petting Farm Picnic
Entrance is P25 for Mums and P50 for everyone else.
Join them for Mother’s Day to celebrate Mums! Cooler boxes and picnic baskets enter for free this Sunday. A variety of braai meats will also be available. Don’t forget camp chairs and picnic blankets.

Mokolodi Nature Reserve’s Mothers Day
Price: P150 for adults and P75 for children between the ages of 5 to 12 years. Kids under 5 are FREE
Join Mokolodi Nature Reserve this Sunday as they share their love for mothers. Attractions include a one-hour Game drive that will start at exactly 11 am and thereafter, a heart-warming lunch prepared with tender care. It’ll be served by the lakeside.

Mokolodi Restaurant Mother’s Day

We’re not 100% sure what’s going on at the restaurant but they say they’re giving away 5 hampers and some gifts. Hey, free stuff sounds good.

Oasis Motel Lunch

They’re barbecuing up a storm for Mother’s Day at the Oasis poolside from 12.30pm. The medley of “tantalizing delights” will begin with a crisp effervescent mimosa welcome drink before you indulge in a 1000 island spicy seafood cocktail starter… and more.
